Boots mentioned in his L4500A thread, Afrika Braun  . He knows damn well that I love DAK vehicles, so I blame him for me starting this one .

Thank you all kindly dear chaps . I know I have slacked a tad here, but that is because I have been doing some research. The vehicle I have chosen is going to be 241 which is on the decal sheet I grabbed last week. After hours of searching I managed to find 2 pictures of the vehicle . Thankfully wouter is building vehicle no. 243, same unit and same vehicle setup, apart from the stowage. So I been looking at that and my 2 pictures to least get something moving here  .  |

That's actually very cool to see you building this one mate. And I agree, the Tammi kit sure can use some additional welding, so well done! And mmm...maybe this can be a motivation to finally finish 243...might be great if one day these two can meet up at a modelling show. I think it's somewhere here as well. There are a couple famous photos where 243 and 241 are en route together. Nice detail is the clothing. We tend to think that (North) Africa is always quite hot, but it can be quite chilly there as well, these pictures clearly show it ^^ |
