This update isn’t exactly figures but goes along with the theme. I’ve been scouting around for a short while looking for terrain models that can be used with the miniatures as part of a tabletop battleground. Something with a bit of flexibility. Games Workshop produce various plastic sets but they are exceptionally expensive, £40-£250! I decided to look at alternatives and figured that some of the laser cut MDF offerings would possibly be suitable. I came across a company called TT Combat, had a look at their website and decided to take a punt on their £20 (delivered) sci-fi Gothic Ruin set. Through the post came what seemed like a book packed in a Jiffy bag. A4 in size. Upon opening it, there were 8 3mm thick MDF sheets with patterns cut in them. No instructions, just a photo of the built items... With the help of PVA, I assembled the mass of parts. Once dried I primed and then painted said parts. This is what I now have.... The best bit is that the building sections interchange... Giving a ton of options! All in all, great value for money... I shall be acquiring some more from them. Now back to plastic fettling!
