Those look cool, Boots. Is there enough stuff in the packs to do more than one vehicle ? Depending on how you use them, but there will be enough to last several models Jeff. Good choice Boots. Just had these delivered. Got them from a flea market website, basically half price. As mentioned earlier, photo from Syria at War book

As several of us know, retirement is approaching and I am following the example of our honoured Paul B (one needs to prepare !). No, actually one needs to grab these rare ship kits whenever they are available. Because the production batches are small, they are easily sold out. So I ordered this 1/350 beast Very Fire IJN Taiho. This is truly gigantic with LOA 745 mm (260 meters in real life) and over 1000 plastic pieces alone. Additionally, there are around 90 brass parts, 50 resin parts and 10 PE frets with hundreds of tiny (irritating) details. To give you an idea, what I am up against, look at the detail of the aft deck structure. We will see if I manage to finish this during this life time or if I need to continue after my rebirth ... (and this will require, for sure, a few bottles of quality malt ).
I got this from MN-Modelar (Czech Republic), good service, great prices and free delivery (orders over 120 euros). Highly recommended. Currently they have a sale for Eduard stuff (20-50 % discount).

That's a complex ship build but it looks like a good one.
Another 1/16 masterclass on its way then, doesn't get much better than that!

It may be January, but I was able to finally spend some of my Christmas money! First off, I purchased online these armor kits: At my local IPMS meeting, a couple guys were selling models, so I scored these: I also got an old Testor's set of US and NATO aircraft armament, but it would not upload to the Gallery. My last Christmas present was given to me by a friend who frequents Hobby Day. It is a unique wooden kit that actually works: Of course, the "ammunition" is rubber bands, but this is so cool! Some of these have been started and can be seen in my first 2024 tour of Maddog Manufacturing now open. Thank you for looking in, comments are welcome!

Kari, great looking carrier. Guy, you will love that Corsair kit; one of their best. Duke, great pick-ups with the modern armor. So cool you got the Italeri Caproni kit! I love that airplane. I picked up that one and the other version with the different engines. They are really neat kits because you get both nose versions.
