John........look forward to the paint stages.......should keep you busy for a bit ..........as for the back, still very uncomfortable but i`m a bit more mobile than i was, the main area is the top of my hip when standing up or sitting down still.........driving is very uncomfortable as well especially trying to get in and out of the car, i would say i`m about 70% improved but i think i still have a ways to go regarding the hip pain..............thanks for asking bud...appreciated
I think I have another 5 yrs at least of Plastic & Paint to keep me busy.... if I don't buy anything else in the meantime
That's good that you're feeling a little better, try to get a doctor or physiotherapist to see you , at least to see if the injury persists or it's just the body healing now.

Thanks Boots & Mr.B !!
I won't bother painting the engine since it's a closed bonnet also the gearbox and some other parts there, but it depends if it's a firing position or not.
Still a lot of work, around 14 / 15 steps for the chassis and running gear. I'm liking this little beast so far.

Thanks Boots & Jeff !!!
Today's work, on the same kits,
I ran into a few problems with the Stryker, here I noticed that L9 was torn off the sprue... searched for it ...and nothing so far. Anyway. Not a big problem.
Here, well the wire is too thick to fit on L11, and when I was trying something else... L11 got wings... flew to never be found ever again same as PE-B9....
Anyway I leave the .50 cal , rear view mirrors and jerrycans to be added after Primer & Paint. So this one is ready for Primer & Paint. I can also start working on the wheels.
On the Zil Truck, I started working on the 6 wheels and the cabin.
That's it for today.

The truck chassis and the top of the Stryker are looking fabulous John As for the missing part L9, well I reckon you can manage that with a little white stuff
