Amusing Hobby 1/35th Syrian T-72AV

In between Hurricane Helene clean-up, I made some good weathering progress on the T-72. I applied Middle East Soil pigment as the base fine dust layer. I had already sprayed the entire tank with a coat of Vallejo Matte Varnish tinted with Iraqi Sand to tone down the washes and chipping. I then added Vallejo Light mud, Industrial Mud and Industrial Splash Mud for thicker layers. I still need to do some mud on the wheel centers.

I had forgotten to paint and weather the insides of the engine deck plates (forgot I can take the whole tank apart for visibility😂😂). Those pieces are now painted and weathered.

The deck below the turret that sits on top of the ammo ( AKA Crew Lauching System) is also 90% done. I just have to do some scratches and dust/dirt.
