Again, to start of with something simple "on docters advice" 😁 .. a Firefly, but not the Sherman type... 😁 Cannotget more basic than this one I think... To give it an extra bit I will be adding these.. But the title says a pair??? Yep, because I also have the "much more detailed and more difficult" Airfix version that actually comes with Dutch decals...

Thanks for looking in on this "clearing the rubbish bin" build... the first version of the Airfix is on Scalemates listed as 1966, this version 1996, the Novo is from 1979, the green plastic reminds me of nucleair waste .. 😷 Nice little kits, differences in construction and detail (duhhh... 😁) but going fast. This is where I am at right now... And yes, the Airfix version has the option to make folded wings, which I will do 😁 The only "problem" I have is that the Novo has a 3 bladed prop and the Airfix a 4 bladed... but no one will notice that 😁

First time I see a Novo kit ! Mmhhhh I think I won't get one. Looking forward to see what you can make of those Plastic Relics. Masking that canopy will be a fun afternoon for sure And don't worry we won't notice the blades

Thanks for those pictures Nito, but I think the Fireflies that were flown from the HrMs Karel Doorman all had 4 blades.. never mind 😁
Thanks Steve, the Airfix version is a quite decent kit considering its age👍

I have built Novo kits before so I know what you're facing here. Excellent work so far! This is well worth following!

Thanks you very much everyone, glad you like it!
The tailwheeltyre, I added a bit of putty, see how that turns out..
There are only a few punch marks, especially on the wheel bay doors, the rest is all nicely hidden on the insides, even on the Novo kit. And those exhausts, well that is the only bit that really needed some cleaning up.
