We are off on the HMS Westminster. I got the hull painted and this was a little tricky. The black cheat line is in an odd spot, as it traverses a difficult curve on the stern but I finally got it marked off and painted. For the Hull Red, I mixed Tamiya Hull Red (which is closer to brown for IJN vessels) with Tamiya X-7 Red. For the grey, I used Vallejo 72.747 Wolf Grey from their gamer line which is about a perfect match for the present Royal Navy Grey. I am going to do weathering on the hull, next.

How hard were you hit Ian? We came through O.K. A lot of rain but not to much wind. No damage to speak of. We got lucky.

Jeff, we ended up with 5 inches of rain in about sixteen hours. Been through quite a few inland hurricanes/tropical storms but never saw constant rain like this. Car port flooded by 6PM---a real mess.
