I've been struggling with these decals.  They are very thin,which is good but that's about the only thing good about them. They are very fragile, don't like Micro-set at all, can't be positioned without tearing or wrinkling and don't stick at all. I know they look silvered but they're not. I'm not very proud of them for sure.
Look quick 'cause they may not return alive.
Gonna be interesting.

They don't look that bad Jeff, I'd seal them with two coats of clear gloss and finish with matt clear just like you said. I was also thinking if it could be an idea to apply a very subtle dust mist over it?
It looks great, forget about the decal struggling.😎👍
