Jeff, Tammy decals always seem to be a problem, but I think you have it sussed Steve told me a trick ages ago, on how to deal with possible silvering. You should gently cut the decals with a sharp blade and then bleed micro set and sol into them. Might be tricky here as you said they don't like the stuff. Mind you, I'm sure a little dust will help help conceal any dodgy areas .

I don`t think ya got to much to worry about mucker.........they do look fine from here and the clear and matt coats will do the trick, a little light pass with some dust effects and Bob`s ya uncle

Yes, Tamiya decals can be a pain in the a#%. They always seem to be too thick or too thin. Nonetheless, great job getting them on the model.

Decals will receive some gloss tomorrow. In the mean time I got the MGs done up. They look O.K. Used some Vallejo dark steel pigment on them. Worked pretty well,I think. TIFN ACCW

As promised, gloss has been sprayed. My biggest concern was actuality blowing the decals off the model with the AB. That did not happen. Just went slow and used low
pressure. Now if they don't wrinkle and/or lift with the dull coat,we'll be golden.
Later,Lads.

Excellent work Jeff, that commanders sight decal will be easy to glue down . I'd use a very thin mix of wood glue (PVA) and water, or thin Tamiya Gloss
