I decided to do another Sherman for my next armor project. I am using the new Korean War Tamiya M4A3E8 in 1/35th scale and I must say this kit is absolutely beautiful. I will be depicting a Canadian M4A3E8 from Lord Strathcona's Horse during the Korean War. I will be using Star Decals to depict this particular vehicle as well. I got the lower hull started and the fit has been outstanding so far and I think this project will be really fun. Best wishes, Ian

This is really a superb kit. I had not built any of the recent Tamiya armor offerings until now but they really hit a home-run with this kit. They also threw in a Russian GAZ Field Car kit in the box too. Very pleasant surprise.
Regards,
Ian

Did they all have that face on the front of them? Don't like that face Several of the American tank units had the Tiger decor because the North Koreans were superstitious about that type of cat. I will be building a Canadian one from Lord Strathcona's Horse which is just OD with unit markings. Best wishes, Ian

As the AM decals show, nice one Yes, indeed. The Strathconas are a pretty legendary outfit. I believe they still exist today and had Leopards at one point. Best wishes, Ian
