Hi ppl, time to start working again on this self queen.
It started about 2 years ago but had to be selfed because there was no time or mojo to continue.
So here is how it evolved back then.

A wooden deck from Artwox was used and Eduard PE exist, though only a portion will be used.
Metal armament fro Master is going to be used as well.

So this is how it looked..

Upon opening the box again i was in for a surprise.
The glue of the self adhesive deck was KAPUT!

So they had to be taken out, add some glue and back in.

Some more work was done on getting ready the air intakes and the armament.

Will be continued.....hopefully...

Well the Protected Cruiser Varyag is finished.
Overall a good kit no fit or other issues and with a good level of detail especially if you think how cheap it is.
The Eduard set was good but the instructions were vague at best.
I didn't do a lot of the rigging, i have to find a proper material for that.
Anyway i saw this one as a testbed for the big, expensive kits that i have in this scale.
I think it went well enough.
