Welcome chaps . Boots, I'm on holiday mucker , plenty of time to build stuff at the mo . Vlad, cheers sir . This is my first BTR kit and I am impressed indeed . Plenty of detail without the Bronco fear factor . Marco, I do everything to the extreme fella . Cheers matey . Pete, I thought you'd like this . Cheers mucker . Todays doings: Interior and top hull engine decks. The seating, dash board and other little bits are also done, and awaiting primer. There was one snag in the instructions, the rear lower hull floor part No. J4, is shown wrongly. This needs turning 180° so that the engine bulkhead has its connection points in the right place .

Lets paint the interior... My humble contribution: Seats have the metal parts painted in blue and part of sidewalls are green, not entire white. Hope it helps!

Cheers Marco , nicely done interior there. I have some reference pics from Overloon in Holland and the Panzer Museum in Munster, these two vehicles have dark grey lower hull and white upper hull. The seats and dashboard and a few other bits are dark green. I think I shall do mine like this, we'll see soon enough .

Cheers John, and that I did also . The pics are virtually the same as those I took at Overloon, not surprising really as everyone has the same angle of shot . Here's todays fun things for yaz , 84 0.4mm holes in the muzzle brake and some of my best friend Mr.PE I also got the vision blocks in place for the driver and co-driver, so maybe I might get some primer on the innards tomorrow .

It's amazing what one of these can do to aid the painting Primer on , I used Vallejo one shot black primer for this . This has to dry orfe now, and maybe tomoz I can get the inner colours on

Looking great so far. This is really is a neat looking vehicle and a shame it never went into full production. Hypothetical Chechnya perhaps?
Best wishes,
Ian

Carl, cheers fella . Ian, I agree with thee about this not going into production . As for Chechnya I ain't so sure, I was thinking of a Afghan camo scheme, that could be closer to the time frame this was built. Anyway I managed to get the base colours on the innards this evening . More as and when fellas
