I did think of Fruils Pete but couldn`t really afford them, i had some Leo bandies but they are to wide and don`t fit the Meng sprocket....these kit ones are just insane!!!!!!!. I can live with Link & Length and even Indy links but to get to the stage of having to make each link out of 6 parts is just ferkin` madness!!

My thoughts exactly mate, glad I only did half runs, that was bad enough!

If i could have got away with half`s i`d have been over the moon , unfortunately not!! Makes ya wonder how far the boundaries get pushed on this detailing lark.......this just puts me off rather than attract.........i remember Mengs tracks in the D9 build.......to fiddly and didn`t fit..... conversion work on the hydraulic rams was required.......a big issue IMHO

6 part links is madness indeed fella, but you'll master them .

One side done ....... It`s actually 6 for the first one as you need the link pin to connect to the other end on final assembly.........the rest of them use 5, 2 upper pads, 2 lower ones plus the link/s ..........the prob i was having was when you clicked (no glue) the 2 upper and lower pads with the links in between you would take it out the former and it would leave half the feckers from the bottom in there!!! , you then had to re-align it and try again..............still they feckin` come apart but different ones from the run!!!!!!!!!! I`v ended up just putting a minuscule of TETC into each divot/hole on the upper pad and gluing together..............fecker`s DON`T come apart now!!!.... and they still move!! My win i think

If it`s any consolation i have blacked the wheels ready for the NATO Green to be applied.........they very kindly provide a wheel template on the etch fret so i can colour in without makin` a mess
