I stumbled across this looking for something else in the attic and thought it would be perfect to finish off over me holibags. One wet Irish weekend and I've got this far with a toe nail clippers, craft knife and a nail file... . Keeping me from the pub

A little bit of fun in the sun today - i.e. just call me Lobster Progress is pretty slow with this, in part due to the absence of meaningful tools but be aware also because of issues with the kit: . Fitting is poor in places and will necessitate filler - which, surprise, surprise... I don't have any! The plastic itself is also soft so it doesn't take much to take lumps out of the parts which then necessitate -you guessed it- filler! Some of the sprue gates are a bit on the big side, making removal and clean up a bit awkward and down-right impossible for the smaller bits, particularly for the rear-hull plate. Flash present in quite a few places- more than you'd expect for a new kit. I bought this soon after it was released so no excuse for this really. Disappointed of Cardiff.

Strange you say that Paul, I built one a few years ago and seamed to go together quite well. I did use an AM turret, but the rest wasn't too bad .

I'm surprised myself tbh Paul. All the reviews I've seen were very positive, so this is a bit strange.

I managed to source some filler, not easy given thesum total of model shop in the entire country can be counted on two hands with change😕 Might actually make a bit of progress with this over the holiday. Today is another extremely wet day, just great when you're by the seaside😵 in a small-town with bog all to do that isn't outside.

At least you found some filler mate, looking rather spiffing

Ah so that's where the filler was needed . The underside of the sponsons I didn't bother about and the as said I swapped the turret for Perfect Scale one . She's looking swiffer though
