Started putting this together now . I have also found a small base for it , onto this I shall slap some Vietnam dirt and some vegetation and maybe...... . I have also raided my equipment box ('bout time too ) and primed some bitz and bobz to scatter around later

Cheers Pete . Today I got some colour on the packs, jerry cans and helmet. Also the ground work kicked in on the base . I used Deluxe Materials "Create and Shape" into which I chucked half my home brew Vietnam earth pigments . Now it's drying it's turning lighter, but doesn't matter as there is going to be paint going over and more pigments . More tomoz spooks

Guy many thanks dear neighbour . Jeff, your choice of words always amazes me . Cheers ole chap . Boots, appreciated mushty . Today has been a bank holiday here , so I got some bench time . I made some of those large leafed jungle things that you see in the films . For these I used brass rod, roll-up papers (stolen from Mrs.B. ) and VMS matt coat as glue . The brass rod acts as the stem, the cigarette paper is the leave itself. Cut the rod to the lengths desired, do the same with the paper and then fold the paper in half, add the rod between the fold and cover in matt coat to fix . This stuff is dry in about an hour, then I drew on ellipse shapes and cut them out with my modelling knife . The colouring was done Tamiya Nato black as a primer, then a mix of Vallejo greens were added and finally a gloss covering from VMS . More soon chaps, as always ACACW
