Great greyage Carl! Smooth cover over a great build work!
P.S. I add the tools before paint in all my builds.

Very nice priming Carl . I tend to add the toolage to the build at the start also, you can use cigarette papers to slide under the tools to help keep the vehicle free of paint

Thanks chaps . Sounds about 50/50 for putting the tools on before or after . Paul sounds like you roll your own I'll try using the paper idea . Well I got the flue shot this year and guess what I came down with . Bout over the symptoms now . I made up my own colors using Tamiya paints . Desert Yellow , Buff , Deck Tan and Flat Earth .

Thanks chaps Just sitting here thinking about if I want to paint camo on this or not . And now the decals are going missing . I think I have plenty of spare decals so I should be ok .

Hard decision Carl, I looked at loads of books and only saw images of camoed vehicles back in 2001. So I went for a green brown mottled type of camo.

Thanks chaps . I found the so called "missing decals " yesterday , laying in what I now would say was in plain sight ,they were in the kits cardboard insert I found them after I dug through my spare decals box . I sprayed some clear on the model yesterday . Paul thanks for the research . Not to say this picture is 100% factual but I did find this picture of a plane Jane with no camo .

From my Panzer Colours books they said that many vehicles were taken new from the delivery train and put straight into service. They were sent out in the standard yellow and painted by the crews when time and materials allowed, so it’s more that likely that there were plain Jane units out there. Colour looks great by the way

I agree very likely some went out in yellow especially as camo paint was issued to units for field application.
