Chaps. Major distraction due to other things in the modelling world but we do have progress. Couple of bits and pieces stuck on, winch assembly is a dry fit. Vellejo desert tan surface primer is on, for the record, I HATE Vallejo Surface Primer, once this build is finished i am going to flush whats left down the sink. It's a b***h to put on, clogs my AB and generally does it's best to p*** me off. Rant over, pic.

Well despite your issue with the Vallejo surface primer, it does look very nice indeed . The only Vallejo primer I have used was the rattle can stuff, I found that it could cause a sort of rippling on the surface of the model .

Nice work Prof! I use VA primer just to paint US modern vehicles. The color is almost perfect. But it isn't good indeed!

An other no vote from me on the Vallejo Primer. Nice update, Mence. Despite the issues.

Chaps. You haven't seen the cab yet with good reason, i've done very little with it. However, we have started with the dashboard. HB give you one decal which spans the whole part, totally impossible to apply effectively. I resorted to cutting the decal into teeny bits and what i couldn't apply, i replicated with paint. Not brilliant but for what you will eventually see, more than passable Ta
