Any paint yet ? Not yet Paul, I'm still planning the build to won't mess the paint with the glue . What a know so far is: I'll use a Bronze Green VA Primer as a base and will use the MIG colors as per manual because I really like the result I saw in TMN site. Almost no weathering and scratches (Robbo can help me with this) and lets see how far I can go.

Those Vehicles were in pristine condition, the camo paint was kept to high standard at all times .

No Marco, I was in the west of Germany, in fact stationed in Münster where I still live. We had only green and black camo, and believe me it wasn't quite as neat and clean as the Berlin stuff

I believe mate, I believe. But Berlin vehicles were used only in urban environment. So, you have a excuse They were basically there for show,Marco. Each type of vehicle had it's own pattern. ie all Chieftain were the same,All 432 were identical, and as Paul said, they were basically kept clean at all times. I didn't serve there, but I did serve in the old West Germany, same as Paul, just a bit earlier!!

Chris, thanks a lot for more information. As far as I can know, all vehicles has the same pattern to make Soviet intel a bit harder. And in the Takom instructions, the ID plates ar different in front an rear of vehicle. I don't know if this is a mistake or another attempt to difficult the identification of the vehicles and their quantity. Long time ago (I mean more than 15 years) I painted an old Tamy Chieftain in this scheme. The model of the tank is incorrect (MK 5?), the colors are incorrect, the markings are incorrect, but it was great because was my first massive masking work and I based everything in some pics that I found in internet. After that, the people from IPMS Stockholm asked me to write an article about the achievement and the text and pics are still there. Here two pics of the result: Cheers!

Guys, do I need to paint the fuel caps in yellow? And antenas supports, are they green or in camo color? The last one: The anti fire system flaps on both sides, are they red?
Thanks in advance!
