Over the years, having knocked over bottles of glue etc thought Id create my own glue holder, simply a top from a business card case, enough room for two superglue and two bottle of plastic model glue. (No need for expensive glue bottle holders :-) And another tip, when you drop small parts on the carpet, and you cannot find them, (as I did with a tiny 'o' ring earlier in the week, empty the vacuum cleaner (much to Mrs surprise) vacuum the floor (again to the Mrs surprise), empty the vacuum cleaner onto a piece of paper and find the part :-)

no need to overtax yourself by emptying the vac, just put a piece of cloth over the nozzle, secure with a rubber band and run it over the area to be searched. the lost item will be held on the cloth. Act swiftly though before the Borrowers find it!!!!!!

I've also done the vacuum trick as well, only I use one of the Black and Decker hand held ones where all the debris is held in the cone. I just snap off the cone and sift through everything to find the part.
I do like that glue holder though. I'll have to look for something similar for my workbench.
