Well then, this is the next project and a 1st for me, joining a group build. Sort of did join one on another site once, but will leave that in the past! Jabbly and PaulH still reminisce about that one Nice little bust from MMM and very heavy on detail. Hope I can do it some justice and will be trying some new techniques with this. If they don't work it will be back to what I know and see how it comes out. Had to repair these parts as one came broken and the other fell apart when trying to clean up. I replaced the resin "hooks" with fuse wire. Some more detail work required, but updates on that once I get really started with this. Tim

Nice one Tim. If anyone can do that bust justice, I do believe it's you

Welcome one and all, Been trying to create the locking mechanisam for the face mask. Not sure if I have it as good as I want, but will wait and see once the primer goes on. In the mean time a few pics. More soon. Tim

Rattle can primer on and basecoat for the flesh done. Used the airbrush for the flesh and will be using it for the big blocks of colour to see if I can get more control of the airbrush and smoother coats of base paint to work with. Stepped over the start line now, more as and when. Tim

You can see the detail already on that casting and it looks fantastic . I always base coat my few and fare between figures with the airbrush, as you say it gives a nice and smooth surface to work on

Thanks Paul, certainly enjoying this. Such a long time since I attempted a bust or figure. Let's just hope it all works out well. As the title suggests main colour for the immersion suit has been layed down. Used the airbrush for this and really pleased with how that went. I can see me using it more and more in the future. Really does help to speed things up.
More soon.
