Good to see you made a start on paint Herr Paul...or should that rather be Paul-Sama in this case? And you are going to scribe the plane? That's something I dread...Looking forward to see you do it, when you find the scribing tape that is

Thank you all kindly fellas . I have decided to do the scribing, with so many people now expecting me have a go I don't have a choice anymore . Anyway, for now I have made a start on the office. I mixed an interior green from Tamiya paints XF11 JN Green and XF71 IJN cockpit green, in roughly 40-60 mix. This was sprayed on and then shortly after, using a wet cocktail stick, I chipped away at certain areas. Unfortunately the seat needs repainting, as the chipping went to far down.

Nice work indeed, glad you can paint it as the heat here makes it almost impossible at the moment.

Joe, Wouts, Pete, thank you chaps . Pete the Temperatur was 38°C yesterday evening, not quite that much in my dwellings but the paint did dry ultra fast

Cheers muckers . Ian R, not sure yet about the cockpit. It does seem though that more will be visible as appears . Here's an update from today, the office was glossed and then given a wash. The decal was also added to the instrument panel and sealed in. Tomorrow will get a matt coat, then I'll join this lot to the fuselage and start sanding the raised panel lines down .

Muchly appreciated Guy . As for the instrument panel, well I might add a little colour yet. To be honest it wouldn't just be black and white

Cheers Pete mucker . I went to the info I received from Mitsubishi a few years ago, and with that I added some colour to the dials on the instrument panel. I then matted that and also added gloss droplets on the dials, to simulate the glass. The seat was also completed with some homemade harnessing (Tammy tape painted with Vallejo Dunkelgelb) and, the steering stick and another stick were added. The whole lot was placed into the fuselage and the halves were then joined up Next I'll get some lead in the nose and seal the nose cover in place . Then it'll fun time removing all raised panel lines
