so, I got a new excuse for you: since you have so much scribing tape now, you need to order a new airplane kit to rescribe

Scribing tape, now there a good idea. I've seen it done using dyno tape before a that works well

Guy, thank you and welcome to the show my friend . Ian R., never heard of that stuff before, I just hope this Mig tape works too Ian H, it's your fault , well partly . You, Steve and Joe being the winged masters here, got me dragged into the dark side, now I need to try and catch up with your masterness Well then, all the parts have now been de-paneled, so I suppose tomorrow the fun can begin

Your definitely a wing master, Paul. Don't forget, I've seen some of your previous builds. This is looking every bit as good as those.

This is coming along very nicely Paul. Gun barrels look much better than the kits parts too. Enjoy the scribing

Thanks muchly fellas . Tommy, we is we, it won't be long before you try it . Okay, I have a Revell scriber, but I wasn't happy with the test run I did yesterday evening on some plastic card . So today at work, I took some old drill bits and reworked them a tad by grinding them down. I ground them slowly as to keep the hardness of the steel. These are now my tools for scribing . Although I may buy a professionally made tool later . So with these new tools, I started down the road of panel line scribing . It is a tricky task, maybe a little like learning to spray Vallejo paints . You need to go in small strokes, at least until the groove is large enough to move faster without fear of slipping. When the groove is large enough, then you can go faster which will give a better cut . Here's the first runs on the canard and the stabilizing fins. Oh yes, I used the scribing tape also. Without it I wouldn't have had a chance at getting the lines done. But it has it's draw backs, I'll tell you about those tomorrow
