All four are fuel tanks Guy, the larger fit to the innermost large pylons. If my references are to be believed

Thank you Steve. I'll use them all four I think.

Guy, great choice and this is such a great looking jet! And yes, the four tank load out on these was pretty common, at least for the USAF birds. The USAF versions were used as nuclear strikers for SAC so lots of fuel was a necessity for long range hits. Looking forward to this one.

I'll make a USAF bird as I think the decals will stand out nicely on the alu body. These decals however have one flaw. The black lettering has to be dark blue and not black, but it doesn't bother me much. I worked on the underside of the wings, the pylons for the extra fuel tanks were added. The tanks aren't glued in place, I'll keep them apart until the paintjob's done. This build is slowly coming to an end and I have to say the kit builds away without problems, the manual is vague when it comes to placing the simplified hydraulic system of the wheel struts. If I was able to build this kit anyone can. I can't wait to begin the paintjob to be honest.

Very much appreciated brotha, I'm learning a lot from you and the other bird builders.

Thanks Wout! I must admit I have a soft spot for 50's and 60's jets.. The Thunderstreaks of the Belgian Air Force flew over quite often when I was a young boy so maybe that's the reason for it, nostalgy. This one however is the USAF bird but I'll certainly build a Belgian one with the camo. A start was made with the office.

Thank you Paul, this time there's no Quinta or other decals for the instrument panel. I don't know if I can do this brushwork properly.

Oh Guy, you and your brushes can work miracles fella . Thank you for giving me the confidence I need Paul, it won't be easy and I hope my instruments panel look only half as good as those of my fellow modellers.

Ian and Joe, thank you fellas! Ok so I planned on proceeding with the office paintwork but...I found some great reference photos of the jet's pilot seat, completed with a black leather scruffy cushion for the back and the bum, and seat belts. Since the (beautiful) kit seat has no cushion I just had no choice but to try and sculpt one in an attempt to make it look more interesting to peep in the office. Once this was done I decided also to sculpt the seatbelts and the pic below shows the fruits of my effort halfway the sculpting stage so it's not finished yet. And yes, I hope you like what I'm fiddling with the Magic Sculp.😅😅😅
