This is my choice, Mig-15 from Eduard... if I have time I will also go with an Airfix kit later on... but first let's see how this goes. Parts look very nice, has small PE fret and masks too. I remember I had the same issue with the Grey cockpit color with the 1/48th kit. I don't think I picked the correct color, will have to check my other build photos, anyway, if with the 1/48th kit it's hardly visible, here it will be impossible to see something.. well I'll know, that bothers me Started painting the side walls, seat and Dark Iron for the long exhaust tube. I will have to drill the wings too.
Well I'm starting the 1/72nd and at mid-build for the 1/48th, that's nice. About the possible second build, it's this kit :
But let's see how this one goes first.

Grand choice John . And it looks like you're off to an excellent start also . Soviet cockpit colours can be a real pain to get right, specially that turquoise one. I had look online at MiG15 cockpit walkarounds, I think you are safe with your choice

Doesn't get any more classic than the MIG-15. Can't wait to see this one, John.

Love that MIG-15 profile! The sprue connection on the wings are too wide, it's very easy to damage the wing. The fuselage fits but there are no pins / holes to join them .
I hope to make a photo shoot of the 1/48th and 1/72nd aircrafts together side by side.

Eduard kits don't need pin holes, the fit is usually perfect . Although the sprue attachments can be a tad nerve wracking . Grand progress John, you're on a roll like back in the old Armorama days

You are right I got the Old Pace Back !!

Always up for a Mig 15. The Spit looks nice too.
Have fun!

Great little kit this, I built one a few years ago. Don't forget the nose weight
