Snapped the front axle/hub and it ain`t somat i can repair easily..........there`s no proper contact that i can securely attach back too, Trumpeter give you two tiny little connection points where the hub joins on and thats it!!, not sure how i`m gonna come back on this one

I`ll sort a pic out shortly I do have some ideas but it`s a really fragile area.....if i could make some sort of small plate it might help but i won`t hold me breath that it will last.

The flat white part shown by the blue arrow has to attach to the two small arms circled blue in the other picture........origionally there were two tiny lugs but as you can see there`s no secure connection for it............it`ll never last more than 5 mins..........ask me how i know!!, also getting it to stay in place whist drying and getting it level is gonna be a mare...........it`s not like i can clamp it!!

Aprox. how thick is the white piece? I was wondering if you could pin it?

Post by Boots on Dec 6, 2023 15:56:17 GMT
It`s about 1.5mm Jeff, if i drill it i risk putting pressure on the remaining pieces and it would have to be precise to stop any kind of rocking.........drilling was an option that i ruled out funny enough .......also there would be two to drill not one

That is part C35 isn't it. If drilling is a no go, then think about this. Have you got some angled white stuff? I have some plastruct 1.6 x 1.6mm (L style), a small piece left and right of the original connection (which now missing), on part B44 could do the trick.
