Thanks, Jeff and Bert! So I think the plan for the silver finish will be AK's Xtreme Metallic line over Tamiya Primer. I have had practice with the Xtreme line on several recent jet projects on exhausts and cans so I think it's time to try them on a larger canvas.

Be interesting to watch, because what I cannot really find is do you need different thinner or airbrush cleaner after using the AK Xtreme? I think it is enamel based? Would the normal IP alcohol be enough?
