What a fantastic update,Steve. May I be so bold as to ask what a "fin flick" is?

Now that is a smashing start with the paints! The dials are eyecatching. I caught a cold one week ago and still I'm not feeling much better. Get well soon mate. You too my friend, there are a lot of bugs around at the moment!

What a fantastic update,Steve. May I be so bold as to ask what a "fin flick" is? Thanks Jeff, it's a bit of aero moulded between the front forks. It was removed on the superbike racers so it must be more styling than functional

Just to prove that the fact that I do actually build something.. here's an update! Finished the bodywork, paint is Tamiya X-11 over Revell rattle can silver. Decals then three coats of TS Clear. Lastly polished with resin autoglym. I'm not keen on super shiny finish that's popular at the moment, to me it looks out of scale but I do appreciate the skill involved. I've gone for a two-tone seat that was often seen in the 80's. This is glossy as I'm going to put a decal on it. Handle bar and controls also ready for detail painting. Last for today is the modified swingarm. I added t-section to one side of each arm. A local bike mechanic near me, again in the 80's did this mod on a few local street specials he sold. It was a poor man's Dresda! Needs some detail painting but you get the idea. That's it for now

Boots buddy, I've modded the standard 4-2 and I have a 4-1 I'll make up my mind when it's time to fit it I think.
