And so it begins........😎 lol, and it can always end up...badly😄 Today I worked with the Proxxon tool (the same as a Dremel) with a couple of dental drills to create the bullet holes and shrapnel damage. I made the plastic thin from the inside and I then gently pushed it in from the exterior with a triangular file tip. I finished by brushing on a little Tamiya Extra thin cement to keep things smooth like metal. It's fun to make this damage but it takes time and focus is a must as damage can't be undone once it's there. This was just the warming up btw, it's going to get nastier than just this.

Thank you kindly my friend. The right elevator and the rudder (tomorrow's job) got severely targeted during the dogfight. Therefor the elevator was partially removed and rebuilt, this time including damage. I used extremely thin sheet styrene (sanded to thickness of paper sheet) to replicate a ripped open surface. I think it will look ok once the paint is on.
