First problem is the boiler seam lines. After some sanding, Tamiya putty and some more sanding, they seem okay.

Hadn't heard of this manufacturer, these look interesting. I have built the Trumpeter Br52 a few times and really enjoyed that. Watching these come together will be good😀

These look great, but I wish they made them in 1/72 scale so I could add to my locomotive collection. I'll be following along closely.

Great work on those seams,Tommy. Are all three of these the same scale? They are all 1/50 scale, JEFF. C11 292 in front of Shinbashi station is not that far from me, so went and took some pictures. Luckily. The coal hopper has a cover on it which is not in the kit. So, with a bit of sheet stock, here it is.
