Gatesheadian!!!I like that, the dialect on Tyneside is probably harder to understand to a "foreigner" than French!!!! Sometimes I can't understand what is being said around here!!!😄

LMAO Many years ago i did a junior officers course at Morton in the Marsh Fire Service College, there were Junior rank Firefighters from all over the country.......my team consisted of 2 Geordies and two from the Highlands and Islands .........that was feckin` funny trying to convey messages over pac-set radios whilst wearing Breathing Apparatus

That must have been one hilarious session mate. I have attended courses with participants from all parts of the UK and at times it was tricky to decipher, but photocopier engineers don't wear breathing apparatus, although there were one or two places that gear would have been appreciated!

Yeah it was kinda tricky at times..........my only saving grace was another guy with me and thenkfully from Buckinghamshire My favourite one was a good buddy of mine that used to fix our shredders at my last job...........he was a smashing Asian guy......from Yorkshire

Fixed a few shredders in my time. Got my tie trapped in one once, pretended nowt was wrong but left half my tie in the shred bin., Nobody fell off their chair laughing, so i think it went unoticed!Still have that tie somewhere 😀

Judging the instruction sheet, that certainly looks interesting. The parts are all there but there aren't any locating pins and holes which makes alignment tricky😮🤨

Dead right mate! although it is quite pleasant just sticking parts together and not having to make them, just a little frustrating having to double check to make sure nowt has moved once glued. The plus side is they are all HUGE 😁

De rien Jeff, that is the sum; almost,of my grammar school French save for a few odd words and curses😊 Google translate is a wonderful thing. I do remember how to ask someone "were is the Library"? A phrase that has served me well through the years.
