Carl and Ian...........thank you both very much indeed Ok......i decided i didn`t like the first lot of wooden deck boards.......it just look too square/neat etc and i wanted somat more ram-shackle So i pinged the old one orfe and set to work with some coffee stirrers.....
After a little while i had somat that resembled a `shite house door on a Grimsby fishing trawler` ...........added a hinge and handle and an old door became a make-shift field mod deck
Still got plenty of stirrers left
Thanks fellas

Lovely idea Boots mucker , that really looks a lot better and certainly more like "the Rusky improvisation" . I collect my stirrers from Burger joints, bakers shops, trains.......

Thanks Jeff , it`s had a couple of washes now and doesn`t seem so bright....just scratching a make-shift jerry can holder at the mo I opted to go for a bit of colour to break up the white/green a tad..........an old blue door seemed a good candidate.....`Ruskie stylee`

Oh yeah! Looks great. Can almost feel the cold and being stuck in black winter mud slop on the Eastern Front.
Best wishes,

Coffee stirring seems a waste for those after seeing what can be done with them The modification looks 100% better than the kit part, well worth the effort

Cheers Steve The deck wasn`t a kit part it was just some plasticard i made up to fill a gap.......it just didn`t appeal , so it had to go

Good grief I thought I posted here 2 times since your last update Mucker . CRS !
It looks superb . Great idea with the deck made of stir sticks . Weathering effect blends well with the rest of the truck .
