Thanks Nuncie Carl........we`ll see HUH!! Ok...last for today Started on the very basic stage of the W/W.. The fuel tank/side-steps and toolbox were given the the sponge treatment followed by a dark wash and then a Grey for Bright White filter.....the main cab has only had the sponge applied and looks bright, this is just the very early stage so things are gonna chop and change as i go along, i`ve added a couple of decs just for interest......this isn`t based on a particular vehicle so i`m doing my own thang
I tend to jiggle about when doing the W/W`s.........took me ferkin` ages till i was satisfied with the `Churchy` but that started in a similar fashion

Jeffers/Nuncie Carl, Paulski and Steveski...........thanks fellas I actually added the first cab wash/filter last night and left to dry...........just gonna give it one more dirty coat for the first white and then i`ll seal that with some `future` I`m now debating whether to bring the chassis into play with the white as well or just add more lighter green to make it pop....can`t decide now!!

Ok fellas.......mid-point uppy datey
As mentioned above...i gave the cab a Dark wash and Grey filter and left to dry overnight, this morning i have given the white another filter which is Brown for white-Green camo.....also done the fuel/toolbox etx...........the wheels had a bit more white added to the very edge of the rims just to give some definition......i`ts quite dark on there and tended to blend in with the dark tyre/tire ..........you can hopefully see how this has toned down the very first coat of sponged white into a softer/dirty colour ready for some newer white here and there, the newer white will then get a mild wash so`s that don`t stand out too harsh........finally the upper detail will get the lightest coat of white
You can tell by the decal on the side how the filter has dusted up/coloured/faded etc
The camera pics seem to wash out the effect somewhat ..........if ya double click it shows a bit better
The washes/ filters used so far..
Still deciding on that chass!!!!!!
Cheers fella..........mucho appreciated ACCW

Coming along nicely, Dude. There is a lot of contrast between the Cab and Chassis. It needs something just what that is I can't decide. Maybe a little sponge work to blend it in a bit? Just my two cents.

Your gonna have to dab some white on the platform in front of the 5th wheel and some on top of the frame mucker. I'd say that the frame sides would be dirty from mud slinging but maybe a dirty white from the dirt . Just my 2 cents .

I find hard to believe they would remove the trailer and whitwash the chassis, but I could be wrong. I'd leave it green, but slap plenty of thrown up mud on there

Jeffers..........Yup know exactly what your saying fella and thats whats throwing me Nuncie Carl....Yup........exactly as the above to Jeff .....the platform isn`t finished yet so thats no biggie and dirty white at the sides will work Steve.....i hope `Spring` arrives pretty sharpish then Paul...that is another reason i thought to leave it!! Here`s what i`m gonna do..........i`m gonna bring in the lighter faded Green on the chassis framework and finish of the wood deck and see what it looks like......if it don`t work i can then go over the chass with the W/W but sparingly.......then dirty it up. I`m not gonna go with the thick mud option.....if it was going in a dio then maybe so....i just don`t have the space for bases!! , I think a muddied up vehicle standing alone just don`t look right!!......just my oinion , dusting up ya can get away with to a pont Thanks for the response chaps.....all duly noted and i`ll try me best to deliver the best option
