Looks great, Paul! Gotta love a project that requires soldering and sheet metal work. Looks really sharp with the primer on. Best wishes, Ian

Many thanks for the good words fellas , its just that what keeps me going . This was the primer: Edding permanent spray, universal primer, grey. Universal primer for all surfaces, it doesn't say what it's based on. But it certainly doesn't smell acrylic . It's good stuff indeed, and when my primer stash drops I shall get some more of this . I have just sprayed on the red oxide(ish), I used Humbrol 107 (no longer available) . Its still in the cellar because it's enamel paint and smells a tad . Pics tomoz, promised

Marco, cheers Sir . Boots, appreciated mucker . Steve, many too ole chap . Jeff, too kind of thee fella . Right then esquires, I got home from work at 15:35 this afternoon. Had a shower and a shave, got the washing machine going with my work gear and retired to the cave . I added some hairspray to some areas per brush, then a monster spraying session started . First off, was a Tamiya XF1 black pre-shade around the edges and all the freakin rivets . After 20 minutes drying time and a pint , I went in with Vallejo medium olive green with a few drops of olive green added to darken it a tad. This was the base coat, which took about an hour . After another 25 minutes drying time and a pint , I got the next mix made up. This was again Vallejo medium olive with some mid stone to lighten it up, this was sprayed onto the roof and the sloping sides etc. That took another 35 minutes. Now after another pint, and hanging the washing up to dry we have this . Time for a beer I reckon
