That is really a great looking build. Did you just shrink a 1/1 scale HUMVEE?🤣🤣

After a small bit of dark pin washing and another dusty filter I've sprayed the matt coat on today. Yeap, most of the streaking has vanished. Perhaps I should have done it a bit stronger but never mind I'll get the effect with pigments later!
Ta gents, last night I made up the bones of the base using foam board, cork sheet and some polystyrene. The base is one of those deep picture frames which I found at a shop called the range. Today I plan on adding some of the groundwork so looking forward to that!
Thanks as always guys, you keep me motivated! last night the groundwork went down & I used VMS smart mud for the slope. Love this stuff, it's quickly becoming my favorite way of adding terrain to a base. As ever it's dead easy to use and gives excellent results. The road surface was added with some AK terrains asphalt which was really easy to do. It's quite a wet mixture but with a pallet knife and a drop of water smooths down rally well and almost self levels. There's a good youtube video which I'll add below.
Now it's dry the road has a very nice texture and great colour, I won't have to paint it which is handy. I'm just working out where to put the fence, I'm thinking at the top of the slope so I can get some rubbish behind it and perhaps some down the slope through a hole in it. Lots still to do but I'm liking it so far.
