Smashing tarmacization.

Worked on the base today after giving the crocodile a gloss coat & firstly painted the bank with a hairy stick and tamiya flat earth. This was followed by a rough painting of the base surround and spraying the white line. Some ground up kitty litter was then added to the edges of the tarmac and fixed in place. Oh, the fence posts are just bent plastic stock which I fixed into place yesterday.

I've just added a dark wash over the bank and some of the tarmac and will be building up the effect using multiple washes etc. The fence gives you an idea of how it should look once it's painted and in place. I think on this base I'm going to use just grass clumps and various small plants and shrubs I have instead of static grass just to see how it will come out.

cheers guys, I've now finished off the planting on the base and added some crap behind the fence. I'll now finish this off with pigments on the bank and road then add the bit of rubbish.
