Those attachments are very weedy indeed, wise decision to go with the kit tracks . And a swift start you have laid down again fella

Good decision on the tracks and a fine start, Bub. I am concerned about one thing, though. How do the Barrels look?

The barrels are actually very good Jeff. During my search of the interweb I found a Finnish site that did a review of the kit and they reckon the barrels are spot on.

Pete I believe those are the same kit tracks as used on the Takom T55 series . I used them on my T55 build and they built up nicely and looked great .

Great progress! Is this based on the T-55 chassis? Regards, Ian Indeed it is Ian. Today's progress and the tracks have been added plus I've made up the track guards but kept them loose which will really help with painting later. A few changes too in the form of new lead foil rear mud flaps and two brass wire front guard stays. oh and a bit of wiring for the lights. I've also attempted to add some anti-slip using VMS hull tex air. However I've failed miserably and just can't seem to get it to perform. The real thing has some areas of anti-slip and it's quite a fine texture. I would use some fine wet and dry but the top of the turret needs a coating so that's not possible. I think I'll just go with the model as is especially as the texture is so fine you would probably not notice it on the finished model.

Looks very smart indeed Pete . Shame about the AS though , I must admit I still have to test that VMS stuff .

Yes Paul I don't think it's the actual product that's at fault just me. It doesn't go through my airbrush very well so this could be the source of the problem. Not a biggie as I've said in the end though.
