There's just something about shading on hard-edge camo. It really is a great effect on the finish.

Ian

Cheers Jeffers Ok.......gloss and some decs added
Still got some decs to add to the underneath yet
There are a couple of feck ups i`ve had occur on this unfortunately but as i mentioned before this is a first time practice run........if i make and find silly mistakes now i`ll be aware of issues on other planned wingy builds
Cheers y`all

Thanks mucker Mistake No 1.........bit over exuberant with the TETC on the rear gunners screen and it has caused it to fog over (it`s a seperate bit of circular glazing and i think a small amount of glue went behind.........bit surprised really coz the rest of the canopy is fine and that was fixed using TETC the same as i use on all my glazing be it vehicles/lights etc Mistake No 2......not entirely happy with the paint finish in places, it`s a bit grainy.......

Wow.. I take a week off sick and working away from home and you get this little bird to look so fine! B) same about the clear part, I bet Airfix will replace it if you ask them, they’re customer service is superb As for the paint, just knock it back with some P4000 and re varnish

Sorry for missing so much of a smashing build Mark, especially when it's as good as this.
I'll try harder next time

Steve.........wondered where ya was mucker , thanks fella.........i`m not too fussed about the paint, it`s only when you look closely in the light you can notice it a bit.....as for the clear part it is stuck solid to the other clear part and damage would occur and i don`t wanna mess up the existing paintwork on the canopy, this was just a little somat to get my hand in for further wingy ventures and it ain`t gonna be going anywhere apart from the shelf .........hope ya feeling better Robbo.........no wuz matey, i come across builds i didn`t know were on the go , cheers fella

Well, as a regular 1/72 scale aircraft builder I'd say you're doing a sensational job already despite the issues. You are magnificent no matter what you build. Way to go Boots!
