I've been battling with the camo scheme on the elefant on and off for the past few days and just could not get it to look right. So she's just been stripped of paint so I can start again. I just don't like the tamiya scheme so am looking for something else which I'll be happier with. A temporary setback but nothing too serious!  |

Here's the elefant stripped back to bare plastic. Got to love that VMS clean slate, I was worried that it might affect the zimmerit stickers but in the end it didn't bother them at all.  |

Back to the roots . The VMS clean slate is certainly a good investment, although it didn't quite clear my Vallejo German Grey rattle can primer. |
