Good Morning, Decided it was time to pick up the "hairy sticks" and try a little figure work. Had a little rummage and came across this one in the corner of the stash cupboard. Not quite crying to be done, but one that had not been started and provides a clean canvas so to speak.
Only four parts head, bust, blanket roll and plume\pompom. All cleaned primed and ready to go. Started with the greatcoat, which has been done with Jo Sonja Prussian Blue and Paynes Grey acrylic in various mixes for shadow and base colour. The highs are Vallejo Prussian Blue (light) and JS Prussian blue, again in mixes and hopefully blended. Happy with the results and before I change my mind, I think I will call a halt. As ever all comments welcome and hopefully more soon - a few jobs to complete for "Officer Home Command" then back to the bench Tim

I like that! It is beautifully cast, as well. Regards, Ian As you say Ian a very nice casting. I wanted to bring a little more colour into this than the box art which had the scarf painted in blue and red diced fashion. The question is, what do you think with what I have gone with? It will require a lot of tidy up and shading but the extra splash of colour will be worth it I think. Over to you. Tim

I certainly like that Tim . It'll really give him an edge, instead of just a single colour.

Yes like that Tim, adds a nice bit of interest and variation in colours.

Thanks for the comments one and all. Small update time, Happy with how this is developing, but still much to do. The metal work is NMM and done with Vallejo Japan Uniform and English Uniform with Off White mixed in for highlights and a little Games Workshop Flesh Wash to give some depth. As ever ACW and more soon. Tim

More trials and tribulations................ face painted at least 5 times and still not happy. However, I can't be a***d with it anymore so this will have to do. Life is to short methinks. Will no doubt get finished, but not one of my best. Blanket roll and pom-pom to go and then on to something else. Tim
Oh! and some tidying up as required.
