Well a pleasant evening was spent building up the chassis for the truck. The plastic is slightly soft so clean up can be tricky as the fine parts do bend alarmingly. However with care it's not too bad. There are however many large attachment points which again need care when removing parts. The front axle and steering is particularly delicate. Dioapark give you three options here with the angle of the wheels with straight and left or right turning wheels. The tyres are cracking being made up of two parts with the hubs sandwiched in the middle.

Stellar work on the chassis. The moldings on the tires look really nice!

Cheers guys, more work on this most of today and I'm flying along! The fit of parts and details are very very good on this and I was suprised how quickly it's progressed. As you can see most of it is in sub assemblies for ease of painting and weathering. You can actually make the rear bed tilt as well. I did fill the voids on the rear of the seats as they could possibly be seen on the finished model through the rear window but apart from that it's all from the kit.

Working on the rocket launchers now and the only bit of PE in the whole kit. The rear cowling was interesting to shape as I've never done this before and I'm going to have a bash at soldering it as I think that will be stronger than CA. You get the choice of two types of front cone, one with some rockets in and one without too. It's getting very close to primer now!

That cowling looks bloody awesome
