Superb work on the rust mate and the paint chipping. Love the fact you have some texture to the rust areas and the paint peel is excellent!

Cheers Petemeister . Well, I have gotten the wheelage done today and toned down the blue paint also . I have sprayed the tyres with a German Grey and Black mix from Vallejo, I would like to get a flattening on these but I ain't got a clue how to . I was thinking of heating a metal plate with tealight, and gentle deforming the tyre by pushing it gently downwards, but to be honest I'm too scared to risk it as these tyres are soft vinyl. More soon chaps

Very very nice mate, as for the tyres I would suggest cutting them to the desired state of deflation then using like you said a tea light and something metal to get a slight bulge on the edges of them.

wonderful work Paul, absolutely the dogs!!!!!!! if the tyre is soft vinyl and hollow use Miliput or similar and put it inside the tyre, use whatever is to hand to shape the tyre to the required flatness and once set fix in place by coating the Miliput with superglue (or the tyre cavity) and insert it back into the tyre and hold for a short time until the glue sets. use accelerator if poss.

I’ve also seen hollow soft vinyl tyres flattened by using a small screw and washer . Thread the screw through washer then the tyre into the wheel, the washer pulls the flat into place as you tighten it. Nice work by the way

You can put it in a muddy or grassy base ?

Chaps, thanks for the tips you have given regards the flat tyres . But I still ain't sure which route to go on those. I took them to work today and gave the profile a good sanding with pneumatic sander, one of the finer sort not a huge grinding machine . They certainly look a lot better now, as for the rest we'll see when I get there . I have done some more on the tractor though, the engine and other lower areas have been oiled and generally grubbed up oily greasy stains . For this I used AK engine oil mixed with black oil paint and VMS enamel thinner . Also I got the seat up to the same stage as the rest of the tractor .

Joe, thanks dude . Just done a bit more on the ole tractor . Wheels, tired tyres, dirt and a little more oil stainage over the dirt. I shall add a very fine coat of VMS matt to seal this in, naturally not over the oily areas . I might even start on the base shortly
