Indeed, good save, Paul. I some times will do a wash over a matt finish. I've had pretty good luck using oils.

A1 Stickerage mucker.....some lovely colour points and real interest with the false call signs.....this is a beauty! I remember an old acquaintance from many sites ago (Richard Oram) did a stunning example of this (took him about 8 years though!!!) and this is rapidly turning into another! I remember that one well. Do you ever see him at any of the shows?

Guy, this has been a blast of a build . It was something I wanted to do for years, so there is plenty of swing in every step . Jeff, thanks mucker , but a wash over matte I shall never do again . Ian, your gonna have to wait for Dicky on that , I know the man not . Well got the tow ropes on, the spare tracks on the turret, the on board tools and painted the jerry can with it's water markings . Just a tad more weathering to do and possibly a figure . More soon duderoonies . ACW

When you say: "Almost there"... Are you sure that you need to do something else in this beauty? WOW!

Absolutely first class work fella - really comin' together now bud! I must admit I NEVER gloss models before washes, decals or anything else - just an unnecessary step as far as I'm concerned but I AM the world's laziest modeler!!! Robbo - Last saw Richard at Euro 2015 I think matey

Jeff, cheers mucker . Guy, many thanks comrade . Marco, the tow ropes weren't quite finised . Pete, cheers old chap, figure coming up . Dicky, much obliged mucker . Well then after tackling the figure last night and today , I call this one done with. The last addition to the tank was dusting up the tow ropes. Here she is then, "rattle" (and roll) of the 6th RTR in the Suez campaign of 1956. ACW muckers
