Ok.....finish line in site for the main build Some more washes/pins etc...........stowage rack and fenders now fitted (the stowage rack has had a support bracket added made from some fuse wire which was shaped to fit..........this is on the real vehicle but not included in the kit!!), the decs have been re-done on the fenders.......these have to be left for 6-8 hrs as mentioned and then i can remove the top transfer film and blend them in with the weathering. The steering column and wheel fitted...........roof is dry fit as i need to add the glazing then i can button it up......the roof still needs a little bit of tinkering with yet. Remaining jobs are..........glazing, wipers and some extras to add and also to permanently fit the rear deck I have to confess that this very nearly went against the feckin` wall last night...........it`s so delicate and some attachment points are bloody minimal, the front fenders balance on two tiny locating points......the stowage rack didn`t want to behave and so patience was tested and tempers flared ...........but it survived........JUST!!!! Cheers chaps

Feck me Boots that was bad indeed . It could have been your washes that caused this, if I remember rightly something similar happened with mine. It was the rear axle or the back deck that came off after using AK washes thinned with odourless turps. Looks like you got it beat though, keep cool Sir and leave the brick of doom outside .

Paul.........the connection point on that front axle is a single one as you well know, when it came adrift before it had completely broke axle side of the little recess it sits in........it now has to be glued to that point so there is no real strength there , all the moving and handling that has been going on just loosened it again, hopefully once it is all together it can be left alone and i can carry on with the upper smaller stuff .........and yes, the rear axles have fell orfe twice , cheers mucker John........LMAO
