Bit of a dramatic title but now coffee shops and pubs are off the list of meeting places as well, time to crack the lid on this. Back soon...

Sorry to hear that Mence. Whatever I hope you and yours pull through safely. I'm sure that will be a fantastic pass-time build though .

Looking forward to the Sheridan! These are really cool looking tanks. Still remember them from the opening chapter of "Third World War: August 1985" by Sir John Hackett.
Regards,
Ian

All good here, usual precautions, nothing more. A pile of models to hand, wife has jigsaws, we're sorted.

Hi mence, is this the one that came out just after the new tamiya version?? Yes indeed. From what I see, many more parts involved than Tamiyas, detail looks cracking.

I'm interested to see these new Sheridan kits build up. I always liked the look of them and I enjoyed using the Academy kits for a couple of my what-if builds.

Chaps. We're off. Jumped to step 47 as I wanted to tackle lower hull first. Not often you see a multi part hull these days. Then some of yesterday and much of today was spent attaching getting on for 70 parts to the hull making sure everything stays level. Apologies for the pic, light fading here. More soon.

This will be cool! There was a buddy of mine who was an M60A3 company commander in Germany and he said one time an M551 troop was doing a Shillelagh missile demo for the brass at the base. They did a live-fire launch demo and as soon as the missile cleared the tube it flew upwards and then backwards towards the grandstands where the brass were watching from. He said those stands cleared out in seconds. Missile landed in a field somewhere.

Mence, you said it's more involved than the tamiya kit. I think you're right, I don't think there's 70 pieces in the kit never mind the lower Hull.
Cracking job matey
