OK chaps, I needed a break from the MI ABV so tonight I started a project I've been thinking about for years, I know I've not finished stuff in the past which I guess is frustrating if you're watching it but that's all in the past. This is one of them ongoing dip in dip out projects so. The first bit worked. My plan is to have the crew depicted one with them ready to rock, the other with them chilling.

I might be looking forward to it if only I knew what an AAV is It's an amourd assault vehicle, first introduced in 1972 into the usmc as their primary troop transport. Not mine resistant anything larger than 7.62 will cut through it but it looks soooo cool

Yeah, I've built a number of these in 1/72 scale. I have one more to do for my Japanese Army; this just might get me motivated to start it soon.
Keep it coming Mack!

Guys, I'm sure Marco would agree, these hobby boss kit aavs can be a bugger to put together, I have a tamiya and a couple of tamiya remolds in the loft.
I just love them as a vehicle.
Cheers for looking in.

Mack, I had problems with upper and botton hull. Inside, no major problems

I guess I had a productive day, cherry picking the parts I needed was interesting. Anyway the top deck is dry fitted for effect and photo.

I thought I'd do a little on this and then move back to the ABV but my idea developed a little as far as the view on the interior of the front part. PE, grab handles and hatches The interior bits, theses are going to be tricky to fit as they are all located on the Lowe Hull but I have a plan!! And the rear is pretty much done, I just need to make some stowage, figures are inbound.
