Pete, that looks amazing and great work on the asphalt. Do you have the Tamiya Modern Armor stowage set? There are German road signs printed on the box flaps that they don't tell you about in the set. Look really nice. I used them on my T-64 WW III vignette.

Base is almost finished now with the addition of some weeds & grass. The white line was easy, just mask and spray using an off white colour. Once the grass, stones & plants had been painted a very thin mix of tamiya flat earth & deck tan was sprayed on making sure a light misting went onto the road.







Next it's on to the model and here I want a very light effect so no pigments at all. Instead I'm using some wilder aqualine effects which I thin further with water then apply. This stuff can be reactivated with water even when dry so you can easily adjust the effects to suit. I'm using light mud, dark earth & dry earth to build up the effects in layers. The weathering will be limited to the lower hull and side skirts as I want a recently arrived or cleaned vehicle perhaps just starting an exercise.
