What about one with tracks Just sayin ( Never seen that image before, and the first time I've seen an M26 with tracks fitted, they might be a field mod produced by the crew. Bill, no pressure at all mate, there are none available, that I have found anyhoo, unless there are some that are 3D printed......

So I'm (not) sorry there wont be tracks chaps hope this doesn't disappoint! I wont bore you with sprue shots and all that as we all know what she looks like but I will start with some cutting and modifying to accept the rather large chunk of resin, the engine is a nice piece, comparing it to the images in the Tank Workshop book its all there and really doesn't need many additions if any, what does disappoint though is the panel for the engine compartment, major shrinkage or just plain wrong. With that I will save the detail and skip the rest. So then i knocked up the radiator and added the relevant brass I then picked up my jewellers saw and nipped out the sump and transmission from the chassis And here's how the lump takes up all the space! I then cut away the access panels from the engine compartment, these are replaced with PE, and assembled the engine compartment to add some strength. this is ready now to accept the support pillars that hold the access panels in place. So that's me so far, only a little progress but a good destructive start

OOOoooo second update in one day....... go me I started by stripping the detail off the inside of the compartment and fitting it to the original. and then started to clean up and attach the fan belt/ oil coolers to the front end of the lump, it soon became apparent the part had been built wrong and was not going to fit in a million years, so out with the scalpel and did me some trimming, drilled some holes and ......; et voila! The eagle eyed may spot the new mounting blocks too........... again..... poor fit, but! its now all in line.. And boxed in And finally I have to find a home for all of these parts ............ with really poor instructions I'm glad I have the TW book to refer too All criticisms welcome, thanks for looking in

Its been a slow process...... mainly due to the boy being back at school and I have been exploring Assassins creed origins xmas pressie of the missus so it would be rude not to play it lots But I have made a small amount of progress on the engine compartment and the 'donk' as its apparently called Found a home for all the pipework and framed up the access areas, then added the PE.... So that's the compartment dun! time to move on with the rest of the office now. Still some tidying to carry out on the resin, filling air bubbles etc. And as a footnote, the 'chains' that Boots so kindly brought to the table, turns out they are the same as the ones on the Scammel, due to them being Scammel chains!!!!! who knew!!!

I usually spend time on world of tanks or more recently war thunder, ACo is not really 7yr old friendly, although he is most interested I wasn't sure about CoD, they were kinda losing the plot quite considerably, but I've been told WWII is much better, you will have to let us know.... BTW fella, edited a footnote you might be innnerested in
