Looks interesting. So, if they are all painted black, why are some appearing unpainted?

Now it still looks a bit of an oddball but you'll see how incredible it looks once given a good slap o' paint.

Okay, next step. Get yourselves one of those cheap dispenser spray bottles, in which you can put pretty much any liquid you wish to make into a fine spray. Fill it with warm water, spray the netting and wait for it to soak into the fabrics. Then get some white glue and thin it down with water, take an old brush and start to push the hessian strips into the net and crevasses around the tank. Take your time with this, and don't worry if some strips come off, they can always be glued back on later. Also if you don't like the shape of any netting, you can reshape the stuff as it is all water soluble . More tomorrow chaps

Most impressive! I don't know if I could do something like this in 1/72 scale; they would have to be very small strips!

Chaps you're all too kind , your words are well appreciated . Today I added the hessian to the turret, believe me it's the trickiest part as the turret is very difficult to hold whilst applying the stuff . Tomorrow I'll do some trimming here and there, then get the primer on As always ACACW
