It looks good, Paul. Give the green another coat or two and see what happens.

All ready on it Jeff, and it is looking better for it. I now need to soften the contrast -a few filters and a dusting coat or two.

Colourification looks good Paul, how did the Hataka paints work? Are they used straight from the bottle or do you thin them?

Cheers all. Steve, so far Ive just used then with the smallest bit of thinner- something like 1-15( sorry cant be more exact), I think they would probably be ok straight from the bottle tbh. Somee pics of the main bits together. Gun still needs quite a bit of paint, but on the whole looking reasonably good I think.
the first of the detailing will be on the running gear. Its all been base coated so isgoing to get a bit of weathering, including some pigments. I'm probably going to add a commander figure to this one- currently I have in mind one of the MENG BW figures- minimal tweaking should see it good for a viking!

Thank you gents. the tiniest bit of progress over breakfast on this today; The pipework on the engine deck is more often lost on a 3-tome or green based Leo, due to its dark hue. The tips still need to be picked out in a steel type finish. I also managed to get some colour on the Wegman launchers. Small progress- but still progress....
