some minor progress... Im not particularly enamoured with the use of acetate for optics as provided so decided to try something else- AK still water was applied with a cocktail stick. The inner surfaces had been painted with a chrome. Next time, need to add some clear blue/green. For an experiment it turned out ok. pics crap but I will try to get a decent macro shot later this week;

Cheers Mr B. I've tried pva in the past but it took forever to cure and because of the inevitable shrinkage required multiple "fills". Because this stuff is much stiffer to start with it didnt need much in the way of a backstop. Going to try it out on lights next.

Onr if my few resolutions... Get this finished! Pinwash/outlining with LC liquid pigments Burnt umber. some tidy up and rework required on hull and finishing off of turret.
